All across the country, parents and caregivers are taking on the gargantuan role of homeschool teacher. Likewise, teachers are adapting at record speed as they evolve into remote educators. In many respects, what makes this new dynamic possible is technology. It allows us to share and access lesson plans and to connect with one another in virtual spaces.

Lessons Learned: On Life and Working from Home
After nearly 20 years of living and working in Manhattan, 9/11 happened. It was jolting and jarring and had a big impact on my life – both personally and professionally. The current emotional energy of COVID-19 brings me back to that time. While the events are completely different, the emotions are strikingly similar: fear, uncertainty, love, compassion, helplessness and urgency.
