They say life is what happens when you’re busy making plans. It’s easy to look back and wish we had slowed down for a moment and taken more time to plan. But hindsight is 20/20. Here are a few lessons I’d like to share from my own experience.

Laura Plourde
Laura understands exactly what it’s like to be an agent because she was one. She brings almost 25 years of experience in the industry with over 20 years as a financial advisor to her role as a compliance officer for National Life.
Whether she’s working with her colleagues or the agents she serves in the field, she brings both a seasoned regulatory eye and a passion for relationship building.
Originally from Connecticut, Laura was also a co-host of a local radio show there where she discussed current market conditions and financial topics. Since her move to Vermont, she loves spending her free time playing outside with her boyfriend snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, kayaking and spending time with their two dogs and friends and family. Additionally, Laura is currently working hard completing her MBA.
A favorite quote that sums life up for Laura: “Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ”WOW,… What a ride!”
